How to use your SASSA card at a shop till
The SASSA Card if you withdraw at a selected store (Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers, Pick n Pay), your withdrawals each month are free.The new SASSA card is not limited to Post Office outlets. You can use it to draw your grants at an ATM and you can swipe for goods or cash at merchant stores. Deductions are blocked and cannot go through the new SASSA card
How to use your new SASSA card at a shop till:
- Hand your card to the cashier at the till.
- Enter your PIN when the cashier asks you to do so, and press the green button on the pin machine.
Remember – you do not have to withdraw your entire grant at once.
