Start with a title

Unless you have the  right title, do not write your article. Eight out of ten of people who who read your headline, but only two out of ten will click through to read the rest of your article.It does not matter how amazing the blog post you write, if you do not write a good headline, no-one is going to read the rest of your post. If you need some inspiration go to your magazine rack and check out a random magazine. They have all these amazing headlines line “How to lose belly fat in ten days”, “ Double your profits in three months” . It doesn’t matter what magazine it is, whether its your latest Health Magazine ,business magazine or gossip magazine, the common denominator in all of them is that they use catchy titles and thats what you need to do with your blog post. I stick with the basics like “How to”, Get”, Own”. Those personalised titles are very simple but they have worked wonders for us.

Introduction

You need to hook people with a bold statement. For example in this blog post I hooked you up by saying “ how to write the perfect blog post” . By hooking people in they are going to read the rest . With an introduction, its not only about hooking people in, its also about informing people what the blog post is going to be about. A quick overview of what you are going to talk about is a great way to hook them in as well more into your blog post, read more and ideally  leave a comment at the end of your post.

Body

Your body should include sub headings, keeping in mid you want your content easy to skim. If people cant skim it your blog post will probably not do well. While using sub headings, keep your paragraphs  five to six lines maximum. In addition when you are writing your blog post in your body link out to, related content on your blog and to other people to create more credibility for you. This makes you or your business as the expert, which is what you would eat to be perceived as when you are writing content.

Conclusion

The conclusion summarises what the post was about and you end it with a question. By ending with a question, more people are more likely to leave a comment. When they leave a comment, it creates engagement. By getting engagement, you are much more likely to generate sales. if people read your blog but they don’t engage with you, they are not likely to become a lead.or buy your product or your services.
